Position Available: Senior Executive, Finance & Compliance

Reporting to: Senior Manager, Finance & HR

Food from the Heart (FFTH) is a leading non-profit organization committed to alleviating hunger in Singapore by providing sustainable food support to the less fortunate.

We are seeking a Senior Executive, Finance & Compliance to join our team and support our financial operations while ensuring adherence to regulatory and governance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handle full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
2. Prepare monthly financial reports, management accounts, and donor fund reports.
3. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
4. Support budget preparation, grant reporting, and financial audits.
5. Maintain financial records and ensure accuracy of transactions.
6. Monitor and implement compliance with regulatory guidelines, including financial governance and charity regulations.
7. Assist in policy development and internal controls to enhance compliance and financial processes.
8. Keep up to date with changes in financial and charity-related regulations to ensure adherence.

Requirements:

1. Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the non-profit or social service sector.
3. Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and regulatory compliance for charities.
4. Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
5. Meticulous, organized, and able to work independently.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Passion for social causes and a commitment to FFTH’s mission.
