Job description
Role Summary
The Business Development Manager is expected to identify and secure new business opportunities for the organization's electronic access control and wireless locking solutions in the local market.
The successful candidate will have technical knowledge of physical security concepts and electronic access control and locking solutions, and will be responsible for working with local channel partners, promoting the organization's solutions, and increasing brand awareness through marketing activities.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing relationships and exerting influence on various decision makers including but not limited to consultants, end-users, architects and/or contractors.
Job Description
Ownership of key commercial measure for assigned territory including but not limited to revenue targets and revenue pipelines.
Identify, develop and nurture new enterprise accounts to accelerate the adoption of the organization's product and solution offerings. This includes but is not limited to engagement with key stakeholders in the value-chain to influence decision-making processes.
Manage and motivate channel partners with the aim of increasing “share-of-wallet”.
Coordinate and secure resources internally where needed in support of channel enablement and development.
Lead local marketing activities to promote the organization's solutions and increase brand awareness.
Maintain sales and business funnel for accurate reporting.
Job Responsibilities
Diploma/Degree in Business or related fields.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a sales/key account management environment.
Prior experience in selling into Enterprise Accounts / Large System Integrators will be advantageous.
Prior experience with selling technical products/solutions for the built environment and experience in industries involving physical security, facility management, ironmongery would be advantageous.
Possess good organizational skills and customer relation skills.
Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines and adaptable in a fast-paced working environment.
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
