Job Title: EVF Operations Engineer Intern

Location: Evolutive Facility (EVF) at 5 Tuas South Street 2, Singapore 639328

Eligibility: Credit bearing internship with 12 months duration preferably (6 months minimum)

Others: Company transport provision at designated MRT Station

Sanofi has added two new Evolutive Facilities to our global industrial footprint. These production units (EVF) represent the future of manufacturing. They allow us to increase our capacities while making production more flexible and respectful of the environment.

Our manufacturing sites are state-of-the-art, powered by big data and digital. It is the bridge between scientific advances and transformative medicine serving millions of people around the world.

Fully digitalized, our Evolutive Facilities (EVF) will enable more responsive and flexible manufacturing across multiple vaccine and biological platforms including mRNA, while minimizing our impact to the environment. Our EVFs will help improve people’s lives by giving them faster access to more treatments.

Main responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with Manufacturing 4.0, Digital, Engineering, Operations, and Quality teams in the design, implementation, testing, and deployment of digital applications supporting the Manufacturing operations (Manufacturing Execution Systems, Historian).
  2. Work with other computerized systems to support their integration with MES and Historian (DCS, SAP, etc).
  3. Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and training materials to support and use of MES and Historian.
  4. Ensure compliance with cGMP as well as all Sanofi Quality requirements.

At the end of the internship, you will:

  1. Be part of the multi-cultural and diverse pioneering group in Sanofi working towards the goal of implementing digital systems to support the ambition of having a paperless manufacturing process.
  2. Have a strong exposure to the life sciences industry and the related requirements in Operations, Digital, and HSE.

About you:

  • Eager to work with fully digital tools: Manufacturing control system / MES / paperless systems.
  • Prior experience (including internships) in a manufacturing facility will be an advantage.
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multicultural team / Excellent communication ability / Team spirit.
  • Self-organized and Independent.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English, with a keen eye for detail.
