Chief Information Officer

Job Summary:

A fulfilling position as CIO, Head of Technology for a reputable organization to drive digital transformation strategies and projects.

Mandatory Skill-set:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business;
• At least 20 years of experience in innovative or economically driven environment, working on digital technology projects with 10 years in management capacity;
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills and ability to manage project team members across multiple industries;
• Good understanding or analytical skills in uncovering new opportunities for collaboration;
• Excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence, and ability to influence key decisions, mediate conflicts, and build consensus both internally and externally;
• Strong skills in communication, consulting, negotiation, and conceptualization;
• Strong appreciation of latest technologies, strategies and innovative approaches to help transform businesses;
• Excellent writing, presentation, and people engagement skills in both English and Chinese.

Desired Skill-set:

• Agile, PMP Certified.

Responsibilities:

• Align business initiatives and programmes, identifying opportunities to harmonise IT applications;
• Build strategic partnerships with senior management to understand their issues and help promote/influence directions;
• Support various subsidiaries on initiatives, programmes and work plans, providing governance and review procedures, processes and standards;
• Chair meetings to obtain updates from various project stakeholders on scope, timeline and budgets;
• Forecast and manage budgets, monitor expenditures/costs/overheads against delivered and realised benefits;
• Ensure overall quality assurance and governance of the integrity of the programme and projects;
• Provide coaching/mentoring to members within each program team to hone their capabilities and retain a motivated and high-performing team;
• Manage overall program risks and associated mitigation plans;
• Provide regular progress reports of all programs to senior management.
