Warehouse Team Leader

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our company.

The candidate will oversee and coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring that all goods received are handled and processed in compliance with company policies and requirements. The role is responsible for maintaining appropriate stock levels and ensuring that warehouse and facility storage areas comply with certified license conditions.

Who you will report to:

This position reports to the Warehouse Manager / Warehouse Supervisor.

What you will be doing:

• Supervise, train, and monitor warehouse personnel.
• Ensure safety and security in storage areas.
• Oversee goods handling and equipment usage per company policies and regulations.
• Enforce safety practices and compliance with regulatory approvals, permits, and WSSQHSSE standards.
• Ensure site activities adhere to ISPS regulations.
• Manage warehouse maintenance costs, track expenditures, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee inventory control, stock allocation, and movement planning.
• Process Dangerous Goods certificate applications.
• Support transportation in order preparation and delivery coordination.
• Inspect return shipments, delivery documents, and cylinders.
• Ensure proper control, maintenance, and functionality of trucks and registered apparatus.
• Enforce the use of correct personal protective equipment aboard trucks.
• Maintain all warehouse equipment, including racks and outdoor areas.
• Uphold high 5S standards in the warehouse.
• Identify and resolve issues through the improvement notice routine.
• Lead the warehouse team to achieve KPIs in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Relevant certifications in warehouse management.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of logistics and transportation management.
• Basic understanding of handling Dangerous Goods.
• Familiarity with QHSSE requirements, particularly in warehousing operations.

What you will bring:

• Relevant to warehousing management certificates
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of logistics and transportation management
• Basic knowledge of Dangerous Goods
• Understanding of QHSSE requirements, especially for warehousing
