Job description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Support to join our IT team and provide technical assistance. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused attitude. Responsible for providing on-site technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for IT systems, hardware, and software. This role involves frequent travel to client or company sites to ensure systems are operational and optimized. The IT Support will also assist in deploying new technologies, conducting system upgrades, and providing end-user training where required.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site support for hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, minimizing downtime for end users.
  • Install, configure, and test IT hardware and software as per company or client standards.
  • Assist with the setup and installation of servers, routers, switches, and other network equipment.
  • Conduct on-site rollouts for new IT projects, including device imaging, software deployment, and system upgrades.
  • Conduct routine checks on IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and identifying potential issues.
  • Document common user issues and solutions for knowledge-sharing purposes.
  • Maintain accurate records of on-site visits, tasks performed, and issues resolved.
  • Provide remote assistance to off-site users, resolving issues through remote desktop tools and other communication channels.
