Job Responsibilities:

Working Hours: Office Hours, OT if required (OT Pay)

Salary: Up to $2000 based on experience

Work Location: Woodlands

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to drive new ideas and strategies on new product development
• Explore applications of new functioning ingredients and processing technologies
• Prepare samples for sensory evaluation
• Assist in new and current product registration and certification
• Provide technical support to the product development team
• Maintain updated records of work activities (objectives of test, formulas, processing conditions, required equipment, and equipment setup)
• Assist in quality audits and prepare audit reports after each factory inspection
• Perform QC inspections: incoming, in-process, and finished products
• Perform microbiological testing on finished products
• Perform maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
• Carry out any ad-hoc duties assigned by superiors

Requirements:

• Diploma in Food Science. Preferably 1 year of working experience or internship
• Knowledge of GLP, HACCP, and GMP, and advanced food hygiene practices will be an added advantage
• Team player with initiative, drive, and good interpersonal skills
• Possess a positive working attitude
• Knowledge of Halal application will be an advantage
• Remuneration provided based on experience
• May be required to handle beef/pork
• Immediate candidates will have an advantage
