Geophysicist
Job description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage team to execute geophysical surveys and trial trenching in support of site investigation projects
- Plan, coordinate and conduct fieldwork, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to project timelines
- Process, analyze and interpret geophysical data to provide insights into subsurface conditions
- Maintain and calibrate geophysical equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Prepare technical reports and communicate findings effectively to clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards and client requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics, Geology or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences, preferably in the Construction Industry
- Proficiency in geophysical techniques, including familiarity of using data processing software
- Strong fieldwork experience, including operating geophysical equipment and managing logistics
- Ability to interpret geophysical data and correlation with geotechnical information
- Experience in team leadership and project coordination
- Effective communication and report writing skills
- Able to work independently with a positive attitude to deliver within tight deadlines
