Geophysicist

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage team to execute geophysical surveys and trial trenching in support of site investigation projects
• Plan, coordinate and conduct fieldwork, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to project timelines
• Process, analyze and interpret geophysical data to provide insights into subsurface conditions
• Maintain and calibrate geophysical equipment to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare technical reports and communicate findings effectively to clients and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, industry standards and client requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geophysics, Geology or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experiences, preferably in the Construction Industry
• Proficiency in geophysical techniques, including familiarity of using data processing software
• Strong fieldwork experience, including operating geophysical equipment and managing logistics
• Ability to interpret geophysical data and correlation with geotechnical information
• Experience in team leadership and project coordination
• Effective communication and report writing skills
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude to deliver within tight deadlines
