We are seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Assistant Manager/Manager to join the Community Care team. Reporting to the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for overseeing capacity management, subsidy programs, business office operations, and process improvements. You will work closely with clinical teams and stakeholders to optimise patient flow, resource allocation, and financial processes, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and seamless service delivery. Your responsibilities are as follows:
1. Dialysis Centre (DC) Capacity Management
Oversee daily operations and ensure efficient slot allocation for dialysis centres.
Coordinate patient slot assignments based on proximity, clinical needs, and resource availability.
Develop strategies to enhance capacity utilisation, reduce wait times, and improve patient flow.
Troubleshoot capacity-related challenges and provide timely resolutions.
2. Subsidy Program Administration
Manage subsidy programs, ensuring compliance with eligibility criteria and fund allocation guidelines.
Collaborate with government agencies and stakeholders to stay updated on policies and ensure seamless implementation.
Oversee program budgets and track expenses to optimise financial assistance.
3. Compliance and Reporting
Ensure department operations and subsidy programs comply with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and policy reviews.
Prepare reports on program outcomes, operational metrics, and financial performance for senior management.
4. Business Office Management
Oversee billing, invoicing, and financial record-keeping for the department.
Implement policies and procedures to enhance accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Coordinate with Finance to ensure accurate reporting and prompt resolution of discrepancies.
5. Statistical Analysis and Data Management
Collect, analyse, and interpret data on capacity utilisation, occupancy rates, and patient flow.
Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Work with IT to integrate data management tools for improved decision-making.
6. Process Improvement & Workflow Optimisation
Identify and implement initiatives to enhance capacity management, resource allocation, and overall efficiency.
Lead cross-functional teams in streamlining operations and enhancing patient care.
Develop and implement best practices to reduce delays, improve workflows, and ensure regulatory compliance.
7. Staff Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration
Lead and develop staff by providing training, performance evaluations, and ongoing coaching.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Work closely with hospitals, private dialysis centres, and healthcare partners on patient services and discharge planning.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum 3 years of experience in capacity management, patient flow, operations, or process improvement.
At least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
Experience in healthcare settings and familiarity with financial processes and regulatory compliance is a plus.
Proficiency in data analysis, statistical reporting, and workflow optimisation tools.
