DESIGNATION: Assistant Manager @Befriending & Respite
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assistant Manager develops programmes to suit the needs of clients and caregivers. He/she supports Head, CSS to oversee the execution of these programmes under Community Based Support Services.
CSS is the dynamic and nimble service delivery arm in MINDS that responds to emerging needs of PWIDs and Caregivers in the community. Examples of services include Me Too! Club, MYG, Empowering Bubbles, Home-based Care Services, Caregivers Support Services, Special Student Care Centres and Appropriate Adult Services to enhance integration and community living of caregivers and PWIDs in the community.
The Assistant Manager manages the risk and quality of the programmes, monitors programme expenses to ensure they are within the budget and reviews information materials that are for distribution to clients and volunteers. He/she determines the volunteer needs for programmes and guides junior staff and volunteers in executing programme activities. He/she also collaborates with other organisations to develop programmes and develops community outreach plans to target client groups, external agencies, organisations, and the community.
A client-centric, resourceful, proactive professional, the Assistant Manager is strategic in his approach and works in various voluntary welfare organisations, communities and institutional settings.
