Engineering Assistant (Assembly)

The Opportunity:

Adecco is partnering with a leading player in the semiconductor industry, and we are seeking an Engineering Assistant to join their team! The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting assembly builds, performing tests, and ensuring compliance with cleanroom protocols while working closely with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

The Job:

• Perform assembly builds and testing according to specifications, drawings, and work instructions.
• Ensure timely completion of assembly tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Report and assist engineers in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Maintain cleanroom discipline and adhere to manufacturing protocols to ensure a safe and controlled working environment.

The Talent:

• NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering or its equivalent.
• Candidates without the stated qualifications may be considered based on individual merits.
• Ability to comprehend schematic and mechanical drawings is an advantage.
• Experience in Orbital Welding and/or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is a plus.
• Willing to work in a cleanroom environment and on a 12-hour shift system.
