Assistant Engineer (Japanese speaking)

Overview

A leading provider of advanced inspection and measurement solutions, we specialize in applied optical technologies with focus on semiconductor-related inspection systems. Our Singapore-based subsidiary supports customers with maintenance services for mask inspection machines.

Responsibilities

1. Provide technical support to customers on-site or remotely.
2. Troubleshoot and repair machines at customer locations.
3. Install new testing systems and software updates.
4. Work on projects such as developing manuals, SOPs, and other technical documentation.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
3. At least 1 year of experience in the semiconductor industry.
4. Previous experience in customer support.
5. Knowledge of laser systems, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other related instruments.
6. Candidate who requires work pass need not apply. (Singaporean and PR)
7. A team player.
8. Has strong interpersonal skills with good oral and written communication skills.
9. Able to travel overseas frequently and on short notice.
10. Flexible to work overtime or on selected weekends and public holidays, if required.
11. Self-driven in pursuing technical knowledge needed for the job.

Others

Salary: 4,000~4,500 SGD (determined based on experience)
Working Hours: 9:00am-6:00pm Working in the client site or office
Bonus: AWS and VB
Annual Leave: 14 days in the first year. From the following year, +1 day/year, up to a maximum of 20 days
Medical Leave: 14 days
Medical: Expense Reimbursement AND Group health Insurance
Interview: 2 rounds
