Job description
Assist in receiving, inspecting, and accurately recording incoming shipments of goods.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures.
Ensure accuracy in order fulfilment by verifying product codes, quantities, and quality before shipping.
Fulfill customer satisfaction by ensuring timely deliveries.
Inventory Management:
Maintain inventory levels, track transactions, and conduct cycle counts to ensure accurate stock levels.
Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory storage areas for easy access and efficient space utilization.
Implement the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory method to manage stock rotations effectively.
5S and Safety Compliance:
Ensure that safety procedures are followed and that the warehouse environment is safe for all employees.
Coordinate housekeeping activities to maintain a clean and orderly warehouse.
MHE Operation and Maintenance:
Ensure that Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is properly maintained and operated safely.
Perform daily checks to ensure MHE is in good working condition.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
Propose ideas for productivity enhancements and contribute to achieving organizational goals.
Communication:
Coordinate with colleagues and other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
Collaborate effectively with other team members to meet company goals.
Reporting:
Generate necessary reports, track warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and ensure data accuracy.
Assist with evaluating and reporting on warehouse performance.
Versatile Support:
Ensure the achievement of KPI targets by consistently completing assigned tasks within specified timeframes.
Support the team in other warehouse-related tasks as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum Diploma in Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
Experience:
2 years of experience as a Warehouse Assistant or in a similar role.
Licensing:
Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) (if required).
Forklift / Reach Truck Operation Certification.
Skills:
Strong ability to manage inventory and track stock levels.
Proficiency in analyzing data and providing insights.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to improve processes and overcome challenges.
Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills, both interpersonal and professional.
Team player who works well with others and can collaborate effectively.
Detail-oriented with the ability to perform tasks accurately.
Work Flexibility:
Ability to work overtime will be an advantage.
