Account Receivable Specialist (Established MNC, PERM)

Our client is seeking an experienced account receivable specialist to join the team. The role involves managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities include initiating outbound calls and emails to secure payment commitments, addressing billing queries, and monitoring account statuses. The position also involves preparing and posting invoices, reconciling AR subledger accounts, supporting financial close processes, and preparing weekly cash flow forecasts with variance analysis.

Perm Position

Salary up to $4500

Location: Science Park

Responsibilities:

1. Initiate outbound calls and send emails to account holders to remind them of outstanding payments and secure payment commitment dates.
2. Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing billing-related queries and issues.
3. Monitor payment dates and follow up with account holders to ensure timely payments.
4. Send statements of account, reminder letters, and tax invoices to account holders.
5. Monitor customer accounts and take credit & collection responsibilities.
6. Prepare and post sales invoices.
7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and track all sales accruals cases.
8. Manage and reconcile all AR subledger accounts.
9. Prepare a weekly cash flow forecast and analyze the variance.
10. Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes.
11. Assist in preparing reports and loading accounts.
12. Perform other ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as account executive, AR specialist, credit controller or similar position.
2. Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles.
3. Awareness of business trends.
4. Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
5. Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
