Position: Ship Repair Manager (Offshore Vessels)

Industry: Maritime (Offshore Vessels)

Location: West

Salary Range: Up to S$8,000

Responsibilities:

1. Be responsible for all ship repair matters (organize repair work, reviewing costs and reports)
2. Maintain constant communication with ship owners on all aspects of repair work, modifications, and conversions
3. Ensure proper documentation and order of owner list repair work, after which signed by ship owners
4. Proper planning of repair works to be organized and time efficient
5. Planning of vessels in/out of dry dock by production schedule, work flow, coordination of contractor and work completion
6. Proper documentation of all work sequence
7. Conduct production meetings and VSCC
8. Ensure proper utilization and completion of forms and documents

Requirements:

1. Min. Diploma in Marine or related qualifications
2. Min 15 years of experience in similar capacity, shipyard repair
3. Safety Instruction Course for Ship-Repair Manager Cert is a must
4. Have good knowledge in ship repair, modification and fabrication works
5. Ability to delegate jobs accordingly, with good leadership and management skills
6. Resourceful and able to handle different situations accordingly
