Vessel Operator (CBD/$5K) NL (ID: 667826)

Our client, a well-known company, is looking for candidates for the position of Vessel Operator.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Vessel operation of the Company's owned or chartered bulk carriers.
2. Drafting and preparation of documents such as voyage orders, loading and discharge instructions.
3. Liaising with vessels, ship managers, owners, and charterers on the vessel itinerary and schedule.
4. Handling day-to-day operation issues, stowage plan, and voyage instructions.
5. Working on CP and addendums, IMOS, and TRANS entries.
6. Monitoring the performance of the vessels and the counterparties.
7. Settling invoices with managers and charterers.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Maritime or its equivalent.
2. 1 - 2 years of experience in dry bulk vessel operation.
3. Working experience from the Ship owner is preferable.
4. Understanding of BL’s and LOI, basic understanding of bulk cargo.
5. Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
