Production Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

1. General

1. To perform assembly and testing of product according to MO (Manufacturing Order) and WI (Work Instruction).
2. To assist Production Engineer on various technical support duties, i.e. preventive maintenance, troubleshooting/repairing of production equipment/products and/or setting up new process as and when applicable.
3. Any other adhoc duties as assigned.

2. Responsibilities:

1. To follow closely to all production work instruction and procedure and highlight necessary improvements to the existing work instruction and procedure.
2. To assemble production components and operate computer aided/automated equipment.
3. To report the set up time for each Manufacturing Order completed.
4. To perform a variety of technical support duties.
5. To identify and highlight product, process and quality defects during the assembly process.
6. To maintain safety and housekeeping standards of work area.
7. To participate in improvement programmes like key performance indicators on Productivity, Cost, Quality and Delivery.
8. To support quality and environment management system.

JOB SPECIFICATION

Requirement:

1. Minimum 1 year experience in mechanical industries or assembly line.
2. Able to understand, speak and write English; Mandarin is an added advantage.
3. Positive attitude, self-responsibility, self-motivation, sense of urgency, and good team player.

Minimum Qualification Level:

Secondary Education without GCE 'O' / 'N' Level or equivalent.
