Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team to be the customer-facing unit for all operations related matters pertaining to customer needs and requirements in their respective DC halls.
  • Provide and ensure a high level of customer experience, offering full end-to-end operational support services to customers.
  • Ensure a well-run operations team to optimize customer experience and meet all SLGs.
  • Ensure all equipment and buildings are optimally maintained.
  • Manage allocated expenditures (OPEX and CAPEX) within budget across all DCs.
  • Lead and motivate DC staff, ensuring they are well trained.
  • Engage customers and various institutions to resolve issues where applicable.
  • Support the Operations Team in the various DCs on a 24x7 basis.

  • Leading a team to be the customer-facing unit for all operations related matters pertaining to customer needs and requirements in their respective DC halls.
  • Providing a high level of customer experience and operational support services from customer reports to customer fit-out requirements.
  • Managing the department by providing leadership, coaching, training, mentorship, and overall development of employees.
  • Ensuring all equipment and buildings are optimally maintained.
  • Managing resources in manpower, capital, and operating expenses within the team, ensuring they are leveraged in the most optimal, efficient, and cost-effective manner.
  • Strategizing and leading the department towards optimization and digitalization, deploying data analytics to improve the DCs' resiliency and efficiencies.
  • Developing and integrating the existing Building Management System (BMS) and Environmental Monitoring System (EMS), introducing IoT sensors for AI, and collecting data for Machine Learning implementation to improve DC performance.
  • Reviewing and reforming the existing DC network and IT system to ensure compliance with audit requirements and cybersecurity.
  • Ensuring all processes are well documented and updated regularly.
  • Ensuring all procurement processes are followed.
  • Updating management on overall performance status and activities for the department.
  • Supporting the operations team running on a 24x7 basis to meet all operational needs.

Skills for Success:

  • Degree in IT Network, Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, Facilities Management, or related disciplines.
  • More than 15 years of experience in Mission Critical Facilities.
