Operations Manager

Summary:

• MNC
• Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.15pm
• UP$5500-$7000
• Variable bonus
• Kallang

Responsibilities:

• In-charge of Production/Engineering/Quality/Materials (Raw Material and Finished Goods) Departments
• Oversee and lead the teams in daily activities to drive sustainable, continuous improvements in quality, productivity, safety and ensure on-time delivery
• Provide leadership, guidance and direction to the department supervisors across functional area
• Develop and implement operational strategies, set performance metrics and monitor progress to optimize efficiency across departments
• Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategic plans and identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction while maintaining quality and service standards
• Lead negotiations with key suppliers and vendors
• Facilitate communications with internal and external customers to ensure services and products are fulfilled
• Identify areas for technology and machinery improvements
• Enforce safety/ethics/labor protocols to create a safe and healthy working environment and ensure compliance with head office and local rules and regulations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Manufacturing Management or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Operation Management or in Manufacturing Industry
• Willing to travel overseas at times
