SPED TEACHER AIDE

The Teacher Aide supports teachers in empowering students to reach their fullest potential.

To develop our students holistically, the Teacher Aides support the Teachers in many aspects of our students' learning such as classroom teaching, outdoor learning activities, performing & visual arts programme, public performances, camps, overseas trips, and enrichment programmes.

Responsibilities:

1. Assists in classroom teaching, supervising pupils and managing student behavior.
2. Assists in preparing classroom teaching aids/equipment and materials.
3. Assists and coaches pupils entrusted in their care during classroom instruction, recess, school events, out-of-school hour outings, and ad-hoc activities.

Requirements:

1. Minimum qualifications:
1. GCE “O” level qualifications with credit in English and Mathematics; or
2. Workplace Literacy & Numeracy (WPLN) Level 5 in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, and Numeracy; or
3. NITEC qualification; or
4. Partial GCE “A” Level qualifications.
2. Relevant experience in a special needs school or in the field of education is an advantage.
3. Good team player with a mature personality, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
