Assistant Engineer (Security Systems)

Job Description:

1. Involve in the project or maintenance services related with General Security Systems, Alarms Systems, CCTV Systems, Access control systems and Server & Network infrastructure and whenever required.
2. Perform Installation, Implementation, Configuration and testing of system/storage equipment & setup.
3. Troubleshoot problems encountered on site.
4. Perform OS hardening, patching and updating on servers/VM.
5. Develop implementation plan, migration plan and acceptance test plan for the project.
6. Conduct acceptance test with users and address the testing findings/issues.
7. Work closely with Project/Maintenance Managers in planning the implementation tasks.
8. Maintain accurate and consistent set of work instructions service delivery processes.
9. Develop As-built documentation for handover Job.
10. OT allowance and company vehicle will be provided.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/NITEC or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical/ Electronic/ Information Technology).
2. Experience in Operational Technology/Information Technology industry.
3. Knowledge of networking and IP/TCP protocol.
4. In-depth knowledge in CCTV, Access Control and System Server etc.
5. Hands-on experience in security-related tasks such as OS tightening, patching and updating, virus scanning will be an added advantage.
6. IT Certification in windows system & storage, network, database, virtualization, cloud technologies will be an added advantage.
7. Good communication skills and positive working attitude.
8. Candidate must possess a Class 3 driving license.
