Job description:

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain fixed assets register, perform Assets under Construction ("AUC") account review, and process write-off disposal.
  • Compile and record project costs, and retention accrual in fixed asset accounts.
  • Perform reconciliation of fixed asset ledger balance to the general ledger.
  • Perform depreciation / acceleration calculation to ensure alignment with the company's policy.
  • Prepare audit schedules.
  • Support in physical fixed assets verification exercises.
  • Partner Business Units in fixed assets accounting-related matters.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and system implementation projects, including Purchase Order and Asset Management enhancement.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting - candidates with professional qualifications would be an added advantage.
  • At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably with knowledge in Fixed Assets.
  • Meticulous and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Positive working attitude and ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle high volume of transactions, multi-task, work independently and meet tight timelines.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel.
