As a Specialist - Learning & Development, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Design and execute strategies to promote learning excellence and empower human capital with essential digital readiness, skills, knowledge, and capabilities, while fostering a positive organizational culture through a holistic and integrated approach.
Perform Learning Needs Analysis (LNA) with Internal Stakeholders.
Conduct interviews and focus groups with department heads, managers, and staff across the hospital to understand their specific learning needs.
Use surveys, skills assessments, and performance reviews to gather data on knowledge gaps.
Design a clear learning and development framework, integrating skill-building into daily workflows, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Propose initiatives such as wellness programs, resilience training, and leadership development to foster a positive organizational culture.
Regularly review training content to reflect current best practices, evolving industry guidelines, and technological advancements.
Develop and Launch Train-the-Trainer Programs.
Identify key employees who have leadership potential or expertise and train them to become effective trainers.
Develop a standardized training program for trainers to equip them with teaching techniques, adult learning principles, and coaching strategies.
Define clear learning objectives, prepare pre-assessments, and gather baseline data.
Conduct post-course evaluations, including surveys, feedback forms, and practical assessments to evaluate knowledge retention.
Prepare comprehensive training reports summarizing participant feedback, performance, and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently and are aligned with the broader objectives.
Develop and implement a tracking system to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as course completion rates, learner engagement, and post-training performance improvements.
Support daily operations of the learning and development department to ensure seamless program delivery and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Degree in related fields such as Business, Education, Technology, Healthcare or equivalent.
Attain full Certification in WSQ Advanced Certificate in Training & Assessment (ACTA / Advanced Certificate in Learning & Performance - ACLP).
