Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to support various human resources functions, including but not limited to Training & Development, Insurance, Employee Relations & Engagement, Expatriate Management, and Administrative Support. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and enhancing employee satisfaction.
Training & Development:
Identify and address skill gaps through training programs.
Evaluate training effectiveness and manage records.
Align training with budget constraints and maximize funding support.
Ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Provide regular reports on training outcomes.
Insurance Management:
Handle staff WICA claims and liaise with insurers.
Administer employee insurance programs and ensure compliance.
Track business insurance renewals and negotiate best rates.
Manage the insurance portal for new joiners and resignations.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
Act as a contact point for employee concerns and HR guidance.
Foster engagement through activities, surveys, and benefits.
Mediate conflicts, handle grievances, and support performance management.
Analyze employee data and drive engagement initiatives.
Expatriate Management:
Oversee expatriate support, including visas and compliance.
Arrange travel, accommodations, and relocation logistics.
Assist with housing, transport, and other settling-in needs.
Administrative Support:
Prepare HR reports and manage partnerships with institutions.
Coordinate company events, corporate meetings, and CSR activities.
Maintain organizational charts and HR documentation.
Support safety committees, monthly HR reporting, and ad-hoc projects.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Diploma in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
Minimum 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational setting.
Strong knowledge of Singapore employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience in handling expatriate administration and related logistics.
Proficiency with HRIS, payroll software and excel.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
