Job description

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  1. In partnership with Head of Energy & Infrastructure | APAC, develop and execute a strategic business plan to grow a sustainable and profitable business in Asia Pacific.
  2. You will be a subject matter expert on the current capital flow within the infrastructure and renewables sector in the region. You will have, build and maintain strong relationships with key industry developers, operators and investors and position JLL as the partner of choice.
  3. You will be a subject matter expert in the regional renewable market sector with the ability to provide strategic advice to clients on current market conditions and outlook as they relate to clients' activities or investment considerations.
  4. Identify and lead the due diligence process for potential acquisition and disposal of energy and infrastructure assets across the region.
  5. Through your extensive network, and JLL's existing client base, you will be focused on originating capital raising for large infrastructure and renewable deals and deliver transaction opportunities across the regional market.
  6. You will be an inspirational leader, driving a change agenda in support of the APAC Capital Markets Strategic business plan, as JLL broadens its revenue stream in the infrastructure and renewables industry.
  7. Leverage existing JLL client relationships by introducing new infrastructure and renewable opportunities and lead origination activities and onboarding of new core infrastructure clients across the region.
  8. Originate and execute opportunities for debt and equity-raising, transaction/M&A, and advisory assignments that will position JLL as the preferred partner across the APAC region for large infrastructure and renewable deals.
  9. Have a deep understanding of the infrastructure financing landscape across APAC and assist with sourcing of domestic and international funding for infrastructure and renewable deals.
  10. Utilize JLL's research capability and lead the production of infrastructure and renewables thought leadership marketing materials for the regional market.
  11. Attract, onboard and develop market-leading talent from within the infrastructure and renewable sector.
  12. Source M&A and partnership opportunities to further enhance growth of the Energy and Infrastructure business at JLL.
  13. Develop new ideas to enhance and add value to current JLL services.
  14. Leverage JLL's wider sustainability and ESG practices.
  15. Develop personal skills in a way that benefits your career progression, and the services offered by the firm.

Ideal Experience:

  1. 10+ years' experience in infrastructure capital advisory (across strategic and financing advisory/arranging) with exposure to the above responsibilities and target sectors.
  2. Proven track record in investment sales and/or M&A across the energy and infrastructure sector within the APAC market.
  3. Experience in developing high-performing team environments.
