Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software for automated equipment
• Maintain, review and improve legacy codes
• Troubleshoot issues with existing installed systems
• Write user manuals to describe the functionality of the developed programs
• Liaise with customers on requirements and create specifications based on these requirements.

Requirements

• Degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronic engineering/Computer science or related discipline
• Preferably with 2 to 3 years relevant experience in automation industry
• Proficient in PC based programming (e.g. Visual C#)
• Familiar with PLC programming (e.g. Omron/Beckhoff)
• Familiar with various Motion Controllers/Actuators (e.g. IAI, AD Link)
• Familiar with vision systems (e.g. Cognex)
• Willing to learn and adapt to new technology quickly
• Ability to work independently and in a team with a can-do working attitude.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites.
