A new headcount for Trader has just been created within our client in the steel industry here in Singapore. This is due to the business expansion and succession planning that they have crafted for the trading team.

About the Trader Role:

In this role, your main responsibility is to support the trading function including sales & marketing. You will manage existing accounts and establish new accounts for steel-related products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Correspond & coordinate with clients, overseas offices, and headquarters on daily activities.
2. Manage order processing and logistic arrangement requests.
3. Manage risk management of customer’s credit lines and stock inventories.
4. Ensure payments receivable and payable are all made on time.

Key Requirements:

1. Diploma or Degree in business management is preferred.
2. Minimum 2 years of sales or trading experience.
3. Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
4. Able to travel around the APAC region.
