Job Overview:
We are looking for a driven and experienced Technical Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for our technical products. This role involves building strong customer relationships, providing tailored technical solutions, and driving revenue growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals in the assigned region or market segment.
- Cultivate and manage customer relationships, identifying their needs and offering suitable technical solutions.
- Lead product presentations, demonstrations, and training to showcase product value.
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Provide technical support to the sales team and customers, ensuring solutions meet specifications and requirements.
- Prepare sales forecasts and reports for senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor products to maintain a competitive edge.
- Ensure compliance with company sales processes and standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of technical sales experience, preferably in tools or industrial equipment.
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets and managing customer accounts.
- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to explain complex products simply.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software and sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
