As our Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient financial operations and regulatory compliance. From managing corporate accounting to overseeing audits, your expertise will uphold compliance standards and elevate financial reporting quality. Beyond operational excellence, you will utilise your analytical skills to provide critical insights, empowering the management team to make informed decisions. This dynamic role is ideal for a proactive finance professional eager to drive impact while collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage finance operations, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, statutory reporting (tax), intercompany transactions, and compliance with SFRS and Singapore tax regulations.
  • Oversee and manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) team to ensure timely billing, collections, and reporting.
  • Oversee audit processes, ensuring timely preparation and compliance with audit requirements. Serve as the primary contact for external financial and tax advisors, including auditors.
  • Assist in the documentation of financial status and forecasts, including group consolidations, and collaborate with external auditors to finalise financial statements.
  • Generate financial data, prepare reports, analyse industry trends, and assess financial health. Assist in cash flow forecasting and provide financial advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget and quarterly forecasts for P&L, balance sheets, non-operational accounts, and cash flow.
  • Perform month-end tasks, including journal completion, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and P&L reporting.
  • Work with the HQ Finance Team to manage accounting processes and ensure smooth monthly and year-end close.

The skills, attitude, and experience we require are:

  • ACCA, CPA, CA or a Degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field
  • 3 to 4 years of related experience in audit, accounting, tax and statutory compliance
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (including IFRS 16 Leases) and Tax Law.
  • Proficient in Xero, Google Suite environment and familiar with Excel automation
  • A self-starter with good time management and take initiative to meet deadlines independently
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills with proven ability to effectively communicate across all levels
