Quantity Surveyor/Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Job Descriptions:

1. To assist QS Manager to handle and calculate the quantity and costing of the different tender assignments.
2. Technical review on the supplier/contractor quotation or proposal and ensures compliance with all requirements.
3. Prepare accurate cost estimates for interior design (ID) projects, considering materials, labour, equipment, and other related costs.
4. Ensure all suppliers' equipment selection and subcontractors' quotes meet tender requirements.
5. Review tender documents and raise any queries to the client.
6. Review tender addendum, corrigendum, and post-tender addendum drawings and documents, updating the costing summary with the technical proposal accordingly.

Job Requirements:

1. Civil Engineering / Higher NITEC / Diploma in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
2. Preferably Senior Executive specialized in Quantity Surveying (Interior Design) and Building Industry or equivalent.
3. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in A&A live environment.
4. Required Skills: Cost Estimation & Budgeting, Tender Negotiations, Measurement & Quantity Take-off, Cost Control & Management, Value Engineering, Contract Administration, Documentation & Records, Compliance & Regulations, Communication & Collaboration.
