Resident Technical Officer (Safety)

Responsibilities:

1. Inspection and supervision of workplace safety-related works as required under the project and mandated under the Building Control Act & Regulations and Workplace Safety and Health Act & Regulations.
2. Inspect and conduct all required tests/inspections for the project.
3. Preparation & issuance of site memos on bad workmanship & non-compliant works.
4. Observe and comply with site safety, submit all reports as directed, and ensure that works are carried out in a safe and proper manner.
5. Attend and witness all on-site inspections as required by the Client and authorities.
6. Other duties and responsibilities listed in the project's contract.

Job Requirements:

1. Candidate must be registered with BCA/IES as Resident Technical Officer.
2. At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
3. Required Skill(s): Supervise workplace safety-related matters.
4. Must attain certification in "BCSS" and "Develop a Risk Management Implementation Plan (bizSAFE Level 2)".
5. Preferably specialized in workplace safety-related certificates or equivalent.
6. Good communication skills.
