Placed in the care of Head of Marine Business Unit (BU), and working closely/ reporting to the Sales Director (Marine), the Sales Manager (Marine) will:
Identify, qualify, and close complex sales to new and existing Marine, Offshore Oil and Gas customers.
Develop, maintain, and advance relationships with current and potential customers to cultivate new selling opportunities.
Document and communicate the voice of customer to internal stakeholders.
Leverage resources and knowledge of Marine BU products, services, processes, and operations to support customer commitments, gain competitive advantage and foster business growth.
Prepare or oversee the production of proposals and negotiate contracts for management approval.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, conferences, and other events to keep abreast of industry developments, and seek potential customers.
Deliver presentations to prospective customers within territory, or as required.
Able to interact and influence key decision makers in senior positions.
Any other matters assigned by superior/company.
Other Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in telecommunication, electrical engineering.
4 - 8 years relevant working experience with a good sales track record.
Good sales network in the marine industry and knowledge in Maritime Satellite services will be an advantage.
Experience as Ex-Radio Officers is an added advantage.
Good customer contacts with ship managers/owners will be an advantage.
Possess excellent business acumen, communication, and presentation skills.
