The PDG is the development team responsible for bringing the best-in-class Enterprise and Client classes of HDD and technologies in the likes of Heat Assisted Media Recording (HAMR), Hybrid Shingled Media Recording, etc, to the market. The PE team plays an important role in improving all HDD product metrics and keeping cost and quality on target using cutting edge technologies in advanced recording methodology, innovative HDD test processes and Big Data analytics. The PE team is expanding and looking to recruit highly motivated talents to join our global HDD product development community. Effective team player with good interpersonal skills who enjoys working with colleagues from across different departments in Seagate. Committed and meticulous personality. Self-motivated, and independent. Possess strong analytical skills. Able to resolve a wide range of issues in creative ways.
The job requires at least a degree (Bachelor or Masters) in Physics, Electrical Engineering or related Engineering discipline. 10 or more years' experience in HDD drive test process.
