Security Officer

Job Description

1. To ensure the security and safety of SYFC property.
2. To maintain a Security Occurrence Book during the tour of duty.
3. To exercise proper control of personnel on their entry into the SYFC and unauthorised parking of vehicles.
4. To deter any unauthorised photography and videography in SYFC premises and in the building vicinity.
5. To support the situation of breakdown in a power outage, security alarm and fire alarm.
6. To report all incidents immediately to the Corporate Support Manager.
7. To carry out any secondary duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

1. Only Singaporeans
2. Candidate must possess at least a GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
3. Security-trained
4. Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
5. Highly motivated, independent and adaptable to change
6. AED or First-Aid certified will be an added advantage
7. Candidate must possess the relevant WSQ Security certificates/qualifications:
1. Incident Response (Handle Security Incidents & Services)
2. Guard and Patrol (Provide Guard & Patrol Services)
3. Threat Observation (Recognise Terrorist Threats)
4. Deterrence (Perform Security Duties at Protected Areas and Protected Places)

Other Information

1. Tuesday to Saturday: Either 0700hrs to 1500hrs as early shift or 1100hrs to 1900hrs as late shift
2. Alternate Sundays: 0700hrs to 1600hrs
3. Uniform provided
4. Work Location: Seletar area, 515 West Camp Road.
