Manager - Engineering & Planning Control (Marine)

Job description:

Responsibilities:

1. Overall in charge of engineering resource planning and control
2. Manage the quality management systems for design and engineering scope
3. Planning/scheduling, monitoring and control of the engineering resources, deliverables and activities
4. Manage engineering tools, IT infra and software
5. Manage a team of project document controllers
6. Engineering configuration control using PLM tools
7. Manage the digital transformation and the continuous improvement of the EDC processes and adapting emerging technologies such as AI for productivity improvement
8. Manage data loss prevention, cybersecurity

Knowledge & Skills:

1. Planning and control
2. Digitalization
3. Time management and able to meet tight deadlines
4. Possess excellent inter-personal skills dealing with internal and external customers
5. Good command of both written and spoken English

Requirements:

1. At least 8 years of related experience in engineering project management/document control/planning & control
2. Degree in Engineering related field
3. Familiarity with Document Control, PLM tools, Planning tools
4. Knowledge of Engineering Document Management System, tools and standards
5. Independent and self-motivated
6. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
7. Possess supervisory experience to manage a small team of Documentation Control staff

1. Location: 16 Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
2. 5 days work week
3. Working Hours: 7.25am-5pm
