Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Supply Chain Managers are responsible for the timely, cost-effective procurement, inventory control, planning and quality control of production materials. They ensure the availability of materials in the supply chain, as scheduled, and the maintenance of inventory at the established levels. They coordinate and integrate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors and customers, identifying opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness and capabilities of the supply chain. Resources are focused on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through production processes, and the establishment of key performance metrics and benchmarks to monitor actual performance against goals.

What your background should look like:

1. Inventory transformation project
2. Inventory planning: Analyze inventory structure and trends with consideration of demand, being able to project inventory and take actions to control according to business requirements.
3. Inventory efficiency: Measure end to end SC stock value, DOH, health, driving inventory optimization collaboratively with cross-functional teams: Balance customer consignment & VMI, DC inventory, plant inventory and upstream liability to ensure inventory targets are met, and continue to drive aging and GIR reduction.
4. Inventory management toolkit: Define inventory management process, roles and responsibilities, management methods to have a connected view of inventory management along the end-to-end SC.
5. Leverage data analytics, tools, and systems to enable end-to-end inventory visibility and collaborative impact of the changes.
6. Continue to enhance and improve the process, methodology, tools, and data analytics with consideration of the business/operation environment.
7. Inventory management network competency, skills, and training: Review the competency of inventory management team members, continue to introduce and implement the defined processes, tools, and methods. Provide regular training for skills enhancement.
