UI Artist

Are you a talented 2D artist with a passion for crafting stunning visuals? Do you specialize in UI design with an anime-inspired aesthetic? Skillsearch is thrilled to be partnering with an exciting client to find their next User Interface Artist.

In this role, you will:

1. Design intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for mobile games, including menus, HUD elements, and in-game UI components.
2. Create high-quality 2D UI assets and animations that bring life and personality to the game.
3. Collaborate with game designers and developers to ensure seamless integration of artwork and maintain a cohesive visual style.
4. Iterate on UI designs based on team feedback and playtesting, striving for continuous improvement and polish.
5. Develop art assets for live-ops events, marketing initiatives, and other project needs while ensuring visual consistency.
6. Coordinate and manage outsourcing schedules for art production, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining quality standards.
7. Work closely with other artists and developers to align the visual direction across all aspects of the game.

We’re looking for someone with:

1. Education in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Art, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience as a game artist specializing in UI design for mobile games.
3. Strong skills in digital art tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
5. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, startup-like environment.
6. A passion for gaming and a deep appreciation for the role of art and design in creating memorable gaming experiences.

Bonus points if you have:

1. Experience working on launched or live games.
2. Expertise in 2D animation, visual effects, concept art, or illustration.
