Technician x 2 (Automotive)

• Responsible to conduct service and repair work in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines and report to workshop foreman for necessary technical assistance.
• Responsible to perform task of diagnostics and repairs of electrical systems on the high voltage systems.
• Responsible to report to workshop foreman on parts unavailability and technical issue that require external support.
• Responsible to write a concise report on the repair job performed.
• Responsible to report to workshop foreman promptly on job completion and collect next assigned work order, clocking in/out; accordingly, clarify with workshop foreman in case of doubt.
• Initiate and carry out trouble shooting process to support workshop foreman in handling customer complaints.
• Responsible to clocking in and clocking out dutifully to ensure productivity, efficiency & utilization are recorded accordingly.
• Ensure time recording at workshop conform strictly to the manufacturers repair time.
• Responsible to assure customer concerns are being Fix It Right the first time.
• Responsible for the quality of service and repair work carried out and achieve workshop NPS target.
• Responsible for proper maintenance of all equipment and special tools.
• Responsible to follow and comply workshop safety procedure.
• Maintain safety, good order and tidiness in work bay.
• Responsible to comply with factory warranty guideline on warranty claim procedure.
• Assist Aftersales Manager, Service Manager, Workshop Executive, Job Controller, Foreman & Technical Executive on any ad hoc tasks assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum NTC 2 or Nitec in Automotive related courses or GCE O Level and/or Professional Certificate in Automotive Technician is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in relevant automotive industry.
• Experience in electric vehicle or equipment service & maintenance will be most ideal.
• Working Hours: Mon to Fri (8.30am to 5.30pm), Alternate Saturdays (8.30am to 12.30pm).
