Tiggie App is a digital ecosystem designed to provide personalised learning for children with disabilities (CWD). Powered by Tiggie AI, it offers interactive storybooks, developmental games, teleconsultation with therapists, and AI-driven learning recommendations. Tiggie empowers parents and caregivers to engage in their child's developmental journey directly from home.


We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join Tiggie Kids in building a highly impactful digital learning platform. As part of the Tiggie Kids tech team, you will drive the development of the Tiggie App (Web & Mobile) and its supporting systems, enabling children with disabilities and their families to access personalised learning anytime, anywhere.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-stack development of Tiggie App (Flutter, React Native, Node.js, Python)
  • Build and enhance web and mobile features, including:
    Interactive storybook builder
    Learning management system
    AI-assisted recommendation engine
    Therapist-parent chat platform
  • Work closely with an external vendor to manage development and ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborate with the Tiggie community (therapists, parents, educators) to continuously improve the platform
  • Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with GDPR, PDPA, and ISO 27001
  • Support integration of AI/ML models for personalised learning pathways
  • Maintain robust documentation and contribute to product scalability and sustainability

Shortlisted candidate might be deployed overseas to work with our overseas development team to develop the product.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development
  • Proficient in:
    Frontend: Flutter / React Native
    Backend: Node.js and Python
    Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP or Azure
    Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB or equivalent
  • Familiarity with AI/ML-powered systems (recommendation engines, LLMs) is a plus
  • Experience working with community-driven or educational platforms is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team
