Responsibilities:
1. Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and other payables
Generate invoices and ensure timely billing.
Process receipts and payments accurately.
Send statements of account (SOA) to customers monthly.
Process staff’s reimbursement expenses on a monthly basis.
2. Quarterly GST Returns and Statutory Audits
Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns accurately and on time.
Stay updated with GST regulations and ensure compliance.
3. Month-End and Year-End Closing
Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare necessary accruals and adjustments.
4. Stock Take
Conduct bi-annual stock-take exercises with the team.
Ensure accurate recording and reconciliation of stock movements.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth stock take.
5. Day-to-Day Finance Transactions
Process daily financial transactions promptly and accurately.
Enter data into the ERP system and maintain updated records.
Assist the Account’s part-timer in daily financial work.
6. Administrative Work for the Finance Department
Provide administrative support such as filing, data entry, and document management.
Assist in maintaining organized financial records and documentation.
Assist auditors during audit periods.
May need to train accounts staff as and when required patiently.
Requirements:
Minimum GCE O Level or Diploma in Accountancy, with at least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and 365 applications.
Familiarity with ERP software is a plus.
Meticulous, patient, with strong typing accuracy and speed.
A strong team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
