Job description

Job Description:

  1. Manages territory to meet annual sales targets;
  2. Interacts with end user customers, distribution partners, systems integrators and OEM accounts to penetrate assigned accounts, prospect new accounts, build customer relationships, understands customer needs by effectively positioning Datalogic entire product portfolio, in order to grow business of both existing and new customers.
  3. Identify and develop new customers business (End User/OEM/SI, and only when requested, partners too).
  4. Owns the account strategy within the assigned accounts and communicates to the Industry sales unit on an account by account basis when appropriate;
  5. Report market opportunity and customer requirement, and submit to management action suggestion for targeted customers, product development or service improvement.
  6. Establishes executive level relationships with the customer base and understands customer processes and business model.
  7. Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements:

Education - Bachelor’s Degree preferably in a technical discipline: Electrical Engineering/Industrial Engineering or Business/Marketing degree with at least 4 years of technical experience.

Primary Language - Fluent English

Experience - To have at least one of the following qualifications:

  1. At least three years experience in selling to end users or OEM customers in the field of Transportation and Logistics.
  2. Rich knowledge of Logistic branch automation solutions such as: Automatic Logistic Transportation System, Automatic Stereoscopic Warehouse Sorting System, Intelligent Logistic Equipment.
  3. 3-5 years working experience of automation solutions in Logistics and warehouse system provider – International providers like Schafer, Daifuku or Dematic.
  4. Sales experience in SI or international automation supplier in logistic branch.

Professional Qualification:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to win the trust and cooperation of other people.
  • Good communication capability including verbal, writing and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of responsibility for achieving assigned targets, and for solving customer’s problems to deliver customer satisfaction.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of the sales process and key winning factors in every stage of the sales process.
  • Like to drive team action and push progress for winning and growing business.
  • Demonstrate personality which can stay positive under pressure, and persevere to solve problems to achieve targets.
