SAP BRIM Functional Lead, Convergent Invoicing

As the SAP BRIM Function Lead for Convergent Invoicing (CI), you will oversee the functional design, configuration, and optimization of the Convergent Invoicing processes within complex SAP BRIM implementation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless billing and invoicing operations, aligning with organizational goals and best practices.

What will you do?

1. Analyse business requirements and align them with SAP BRIM Convergent Invoicing capabilities. Identify gaps and propose enhancements or workarounds to address business needs, while optimizing invoicing processes to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
2. Collaborate with technical and functional teams to integrate Convergent Invoicing with other SAP BRIM components, such as Subscription Order Management (SOM), Convergent Charging (CC), and FI-CA.
3. Identify opportunities to enhance existing Convergent Invoicing processes for better performance and usability.
4. Stay updated on SAP BRIM advancements and incorporate relevant updates into existing systems.
5. Oversee data flows and ensure consistency across upstream and downstream systems.
6. Manage the end-to-end implementation of Convergent Invoicing, including system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
7. Work closely with business users, project managers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
8. Provide guidance on best practices for billing and invoicing processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards.

The ideal candidate should possess:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in multiple SAP implementation and support projects.
2. Experience in design, implementation, and overseeing end-to-end solutions for complex billing, subscription, and revenue management processes using the SAP BRIM suite.
3. Exposure to highly customized and complex billing solutions.
4. Hands-on experience in designing and configuring BRIM CI processes including integration aspects with other SAP BRIM solutions.
5. In-depth knowledge in the implementation of BRIM Convergent Invoicing processes across industries.
6. Exposure to end-to-end solution of SAP BRIM CI covering integration of sender components, performing and configuring inbound processing, configuring and using Contract Management, performing price allocation, processing contract changes (prospective and retrospective), fulfilling and creating invoices, integrating with Cost Object Controlling, processing revenue postings, and conducting reconciliation and consistency checks.
7. Solid experience in handling Billing EVENTS for customization of billing processes based on specific business rules and requirements.
8. Certifications:
   • SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management - Subscription Order Management.
   • SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management.
