VP, Financial Performance Management & Projects, Group T&O Finance - ( WD33267 )Business FunctionRegional Support Unit Finance team manages an annual expense base, and plays a critical role in group IT investment, occupancy & technology spend and all key support unit cost. We are in the midst of our transformation journey and are looking for like-minded individuals to join the team in making DBS the Best Bank for a Better World #B3W through supporting shift in the way we work and improving our agility.The transformation of our customer and employees journeys as well as how we deliver them, is being driven through a number of complex, inter-dependent programs. Essential to success of these complex programs is strong financial management through flawless delivery, sound thought leadership and deep business partnering across a range of senior DBS stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesThis role involves driving delivery and commercialization of strategic initiatives, financial controllership and analytics led performance management for our Group Technology and Operations. You will be heavily involved in business partnering with senior stakeholders in Technology & Operations (T&O) and Group Finance in achieving the organizational goals.You will also be a key stakeholder in helping drive the transformation of Finance T&O business processes. Partnering across Technology and Operations, you will drive day to day operational and financial responsibilities, in ensuring the fundamentals are in order, including but not limited to financial processes, governance, risks and controls.Pro-active partnering role as a trusted financial advisor to the businesses to resolve strategic and operational challenges.Formulate and drive process changes, and the change agenda across the T&O Finance teamT&O Finance subject matter expert on Regional Cost Allocation methodology and platform rollout, and drive commercialization eg. Horizontal organization financialsPreparation of financial performance reports and insightful analysis and commentaries to track and drive business performance and enable strategic and operational decisions for T&O and Finance managementSupport the T&O Finance Heads and the CFO in preparing the quarterly Business Review with the CEOWorking closely with T&O Team Leads to plan and manage Budget, Forecast and Actuals cyclesOwnership and accountability for timeliness, data accuracy and process adaptation as needed in delivery of various Regional Reporting data sets and reports to various stakeholders.Develop and put together cohesive presentations for internal and external forums. This will require active facilitation and teamwork across businesses and functional units.Participation in cross functional project work to help drive the strategic agenda.Actively participate in the learning and sharing of best practices.Experience & CompetenciesThe successful candidate will be someone who meets the following requirements:3 to 5 years of experience in banking technology financeCA/CPA/ACCA qualifiedKnowledge of products, processes, technology systems, and finance databasesSolid business acumen with deep expertise in managing financial processes and controllership teams including financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and project investment management/ prioritization.Deeply data driven with the ability to work with large data setsOperationally hands-on, with a strategic mindsetThrive on working in a fast-paced environment with transformation at the centreExcellent stakeholder management skillsProficiency in Excel, PowerpointModelling skills, good command of Tableau and Python is a plusTeamwork and DriveRole model who quickly establishes rapport and trust to build strong stakeholder relationshipsContribute own time to help above beyond own scope of workCollaborate exceptionally across teamsPositive attitude towards embracing new challengesPerformance and outcome oriented - consistently delivers high quality resultsKeen eye for detail, execute high quality, detailed and accurate analysesParticipate likely points of controversy and escalates as appropriateProactive to propose next steps / solutionsResilient personality with the tenacity to excel, able to work with tight timelines
