Senior Technician (Facilities Management)

The Role: To carry out a plan preventive maintenance work and corrective action in hospital, medical centre, clinics and other associated business units, covering the building services, mechanical, electrical, facilities equipment, and other associated building maintenance work.

Key Accountabilities:

1. To perform a plan preventive maintenance work (PPM) as assigned by Supervisor.
2. Capable of leading a team of technicians in the absence of the Supervisor.
3. Capable of troubleshooting electrical faults, reinstating power supply, and providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
4. Capable of troubleshooting air-conditioning faults, reinstating air-conditioning systems back to normal, and providing recommendations to prevent recurrence.
5. Capable of repairing burst water pipes, mechanical work, medical gas systems, and other related facilities equipment.
6. To certify all work completed by vendors/contractors.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Minimum Qualification: NTC 2 or Higher NITEC and above, or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in M&E works and related fields associated with building services.
3. Hands-on experience and attitude to excel.
