Service Technician/Engineer | 0 experience welcome | Loyang (Company transport)

Company Bus provided: Tampines MRT/ Pasir Ris MRT/ Sengkang MRT

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out Production, Service, Repair, Installation, FAT, Field Construction, Plant Commissioning, Sea trials and Inspection of Customer Supplied Product.
2. Maintain good project documentation and be familiar with ISO documentation requirements such as Job Safety Analysis, Work Method Statement and Permit to Work Application requirements and procedures.
3. Requisition Key equipment and materials.
4. Liaise with customers on installation requirements such as hot work, welding, carpentry work, and running of cabling.
5. Inform Managers of additional requirements from customers.
6. Ensure that jobs are carried out to meet acceptance criteria as per technical/installation manual.
7. Assist in preparing the design, drawings, and documents for Customer’s technical requirements.
8. Assist in developing a complete field support process covering all products.
9. Identify and record quality problems related to product or service.
10. Carry out the responsibility of equipment owner in the handling and usage of inspection, measuring and test equipment.
11. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Managers and Engineers.

Requirements:

1. ITE, Diploma, Degree preferably in Electronics / Communication / Electrical / Mechatronics Engineering with 2-3 years of working experience. (0 experience welcome)
2. Reading comprehension of technical documents and work-related documents in English.
3. Possess good critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
4. Knowledge in Computers and Electronics, Telecommunication Systems.
5. Knowledge and experience in Marine Electronics, Offshore industry is an advantage.
6. Open to individuals with engineering experience from another field who want to move into Marine or Naval engineering, including career switchers who want to be trained.
