Job description

Responsible for managing the accounts in his/her portfolio including tailoring promotional strategies to achieve sales targets, executing channel/brand plans, and maximizing return on promotional investments in line with company objectives and strategies.
Supervise the development of tactical plans to meet sales and merchandising objectives and ensure effective implementation.
Formulate account-specific promotional strategies for each customer in the assigned portfolio towards achieving the assigned sales target by incorporating sales/brand plans.
Execute, monitor, and evaluate promotional plans. Initiate business reviews with customers through a minimum of 4 formal review sessions annually with key retailers on a quarterly basis.
Ensure that the set targets for product distribution, shelf presentation, and merchandising are met and constantly maintained.
Ensure optimum ROI and invest within allocated promotional funds.
Drive towards meeting distribution objectives for existing and new products.
Monitor and control all budgeted expenditure to ensure cost-effective spending and optimize benefits gained from allocated funds and company-owned assets.
Participate in drafting and lead the 1st round of annual Trading Terms negotiation with relevant key retailers.
Provide forecast input to the sales planning department for shipment/production planning.
Train and coach the sales force through established systems and procedures, leading by example to ensure a highly motivated team whose quality and potential are maximized.
Communicate sales objectives for the sales department to the sales force and maintain a concerted effort from the team by reviewing and appraising their sales objectives at regular intervals.
Develop and implement innovative tactical plans jointly with sales planning to ensure ongoing category development and anticipate future business trends and opportunities.
