Our client is seeking a HSE Officer Cum ECO to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Safety Leadership: Implement and oversee project-specific HSE management systems, ensuring compliance with all statutory acts and regulations.
• Training and Guidance: Provide coaching and guidance to the workforce on workplace safety practices, conducting safety meetings and briefings.
• Audits and Inspections: Perform site safety audits, inspections, and compliance checks to identify and address gaps in WSH/Environmental systems.
• Incident Management: Investigate workplace incidents, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on implementation to prevent future occurrences.
• Liaison and Reporting: Work closely with project teams and authorities on occupational safety, health, and environmental matters, maintaining accurate records and reports.
• Emergency Preparedness: Organize and coordinate drills, ensuring the maintenance of emergency response equipment and plans.
• Continuous Improvement: Review and evaluate WSH Management System and Environmental reports, recommending improvements to enhance safety standards.

Who are they looking for?

• Qualified Professional: Diploma/Degree in Workplace Safety and Health or related discipline, with MOM-registered (WSHO) & NEA-registered (ECO) certifications.
• Experienced Practitioner: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably with SP, PUB, LTA, or CAG projects.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong familiarity with regulatory requirements related to WSH & ENV in Singapore.
