Job description

The Education Consultant undertakes responsibilities in the Program Management & Student Recruitment Team. The Education Consultant serves as the point of contact between the institution and prospective students. The incumbent identifies and educates prospective students on the institution’s program offerings and supports prospective students by providing information and assistance with closing. The Education Consultant reports to the Manager, Program Management & Student Recruitment and works closely with the Marketing & Communications Team and Student Experience Team to ensure revenue target achievement.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and Student Engagement: Actively seek, follow up, and close sales leads, making effective sales pitches to promote the institution’s programs. Address inquiries from prospective students across multiple platforms (e.g., walk-ins, online, events) and recommend programs tailored to their needs.
  • Outreach and Relationship Management: Arrange appointments with students, Heads of Departments, and HR Managers through targeted outreach. Build long-term relationships with students and partners to foster positive engagement. Develop new business opportunities and explore avenues with existing and new students or partners.
  • Recruitment and Marketing Activities: Participate in roadshows, education fairs, conferences, exhibitions, and workshops. Conduct market research and organize recruitment activities in Singapore and the region.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Follow up on leads, applications, enrolments, and payments via phone, email, chats and social media. Collect student feedback to improve processes and outcomes. Maintain detailed records of contacts and collaborate with management to achieve and exceed enrolment targets.

Key Performance Indicators

Sales

  • Achievement of annual allocated sales targets.
  • Management of program profitability and gross profit margins for all programs.

Program Management

  • Ensure timely responses to student requests and maintain student satisfaction.
  • Ensure the administration of student feedback and surveys for program closure.
  • Recommend service recovery actions and intervention measures if necessary.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
  • Minimum 3 year of relevant working experience in Student Recruitment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiar with social media platforms and competent in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain good relationship with existing & new students / business partners.
  • Highly adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment
