Etch Principal Process Engineer

We’re searching for a Principal Engineer to be part of our Etch diverse team of talent. You will be responsible to manage the integration of all modules' processes and the respective derivatives.

What you will be working on:

1. To sustain, develop and optimize process capability to meet operations goals, as well as manage a group of Engineers and Associate Engineers, if necessary
2. Establish plans and strategies to optimize process capability to meet operations requirements
3. Establish plans and procedures for Lots Disposition
4. Spearhead projects to improve quality cost and throughput
5. Forecast financial budgets for test wafers and process-related expenditure
6. Ensure productivity improvement through process optimization
7. Document, implement and report process capability and work with equipment Engineers to maximize productivity of the equipment
8. Set-up projects to upkeep process capabilities and reliabilities
9. Start-up new processes which involve process characterization and development
10. Troubleshoot process issues, establish SOP to be followed and work with other departments to create new recipes
11. Liaise with both internal and external customers to improve yield and quality
12. Facilitate in 10K Ideas/LSS/BKM programs to improve process capability
13. Perform appraisals and map career path for subordinates, if any
14. Organize and provide training and guidance to Engineers and Associate Engineers to achieve maximum performance effectiveness
15. Ensure good housekeeping and safety practices in the Fab
16. Establish corrective action procedures
17. Liaise with vendors to solve process issues and improve tool performance
18. Responsible for recipe availability, control and documentation
19. Monitor OOC’s and DOS’s and trouble shoot recurring OOCs.

More about you:

1. MSc/Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Physics
2. 4 - 8 years relevant experience in sub-micron wafer fab preferred
3. Good communication and presentation skills
4. Proficient in Microsoft business applications
5. Good team player and has strong leadership qualities
6. Good analytical and problem solving skills
7. Strong sense of responsibility
8. Able to take pressure under time-constrained situations
9. Detail-oriented
