This role also supports the overall operational effectiveness of the programme.
Actively identify and establish strategic partnerships with key ecosystem players, corporates, and other relevant stakeholders to enhance the resources available and foster high-quality startup formations.
Build and maintain relationships with university Principal Investigators (PIs) and scientists to scout technologies with commercial potential and identify aspiring entrepreneurs.
Engage with market and ecosystem stakeholders to stay abreast of the latest trends, bringing this knowledge back to the university to help direct research and identify potential technological applications.
Collaborate extensively with other units within the NUS Enterprise ecosystem to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to venture creation, influencing research directions and technology development.
Facilitate fundraising efforts and help startups secure key accounts and make strategic hires, mapping out a clear pathway for growth and investment.
Provide direct guidance and support to startup teams from concept through to launch, focusing on developing validated problem-solution fits and constructing robust business models.
Work closely with founders to validate their business concepts in real-world environments, assisting in developing scalable business plans and securing initial funding.
Offer strategic insights and guidance to help startup teams navigate complex business landscapes, tailoring advice to meet market demands and regulatory requirements.
Transfer knowledge and entrepreneurial expertise to founders, enhancing their capabilities and ensuring they acquire essential skills throughout the incubation process.
